We are pleased to announce a number of senior appointments at NIISQ.
The NIISQ Board have appointed Natalie Garnett as the Interim CEO effective Monday 5 November.
Natalie has previously worked in Treasury and is currently with Queensland Treasury Corporation and brings sound credentials to the role. Natalie will act as CEO while the recruitment process for a permanent CEO is underway. Natalie will be able to steer NIISQ in accordance with the Operational Plan and Board direction.
The following new positions will report to the CEO:
Acting Head of Operations
Bronwyn Jenner has been appointed to this role. Bronwyn will lead the Support Management team and assumes the NIISQ responsibilities previously being undertaken by Kylie Horton. Bronwyn is no doubt known to many of you already, and brings extensive experience in serious personal injury case management to the role.
Acting Head of Corporate Services
Chris Turnbull has been appointed to head up the corporate service areas within NIISQ including Finance, IT, HR, Planning and Reporting. With the NIISQ team transitioning away from the Insurance Commission a range of services and functions are now being taken up within NIISQ and will occur in a manner that will ensure services continue to run smoothly.
Acting General Counsel
Amy Deeb will head up the governance, regulatory and legal function within NIISQ. Amy has been assisting NIISQ with its governance, regulatory and legal services since the beginning of the year and has worked closely with the Board and management over this period.
