Become a NIISQ registered provider

The 2023 NIISQ Agency attendant care and support provider registration process is now OPEN.

We are committed to providing our participants with outstanding support, as well as ensuring providers we work with comply with our rigorous policies and procedures. This registration process will allow us to review the status of our current list of registered providers to ensure compliance with the NIISQ Agency Service Agreement and Service Provider Standards. 

We’re also seeking any interested attendant care and support providers who aren’t currently registered with us to take part in the upcoming registration process.

Our registration process is conducted every three years, and we encourage any current NIISQ registered attendant, care and support providers to continue working with us by participating in the registration process.

The application process will open on 14 March 2023 and close at 12pm on 28 April 2023. Applicants will be notified about their application status by mid-May.

• What type of service providers are we looking for?

  We are looking for service providers who have experience providing attendant care and support services to people who have sustained the following serious personal injuries:

  • Permanent spinal cord injuries
  • Traumatic brain injuries
  • Multiple or high-level limb amputations
  • Permanent injury to the brachial plexus
  • Severe burns
  • Permanent blindness caused by trauma

  Registered service providers work closely with our Support Planner teams to provide high-quality services to NIISQ participants in their homes, workplaces and communities.

• What is the timing of the registration process?

  Application process opens:           14 March 2023

  Application process closes:           12pm, 28 April 2023

  Applicants notified of outcome:    mid-May 2023

• What if I am a provider of different treatment, care and support services?

  This upcoming registration process is for attendant care and support providers only.

  If you are interested in providing high quality services to NIISQ participants that are not attendant care and support, please express your interest by contacting the Service Delivery Partnerships team at serviceprovider@niis.qld.gov.au.

• How can I become a registered attendant, care and support service provider?

  We will release all documentation relating to the registration process on Q Tenders.  If your organisation is not registered with Q Tenders, you can visit epw.qld.gov.au to register.

  Registering with Q Tenders will ensure that you receive notifications that relate to this registration process.

• What if I am already a registered provider for attendant care and support services?

  All services providers wanting to deliver attendant care and support service for the NIISQ agency MUST complete the registration process.
