White box with navy text that reads: “Provider guideline” on orange background. Above the text is a navy circle with white speech bubble icon inside.

The National Injury Insurance Agency, Queensland (NIISQ Agency) is seeking feedback on our draft Provider Guideline. This guideline outlines the role of service providers delivering treatment, care, and support to participants of the National Injury Insurance Scheme Queensland (NIISQ), along with information about our processes.

The NIISQ Agency administers the NIISQ, which provides necessary and reasonable treatment, care, and support to people who sustain eligible serious personal injuries in Queensland.

Feedback from service providers delivering treatment, care, and support to NIISQ participants (and peak bodies that represent these providers), along with NIISQ participants, is particularly important to us. The purpose of this consultation is to ensure the guideline is practical, clear and effective in supporting providers to work with us.

The consultation period will run from Monday, 16 February, to 5pm on Monday, 16 March 2026. You are welcome to submit feedback via email to serviceprovider@niis.qld.gov.au by this date.

All submissions will remain confidential.

We greatly value your time and input in shaping our guidelines to better support providers and participants.
