NIISQ registered providers

The NIISQ Agency makes payments for a range of necessary and reasonable treatment, care and support services on behalf of NIISQ participants, and we work with a range of high-quality providers who deliver these services.

Under the National Injury Insurance Scheme (Queensland) Act 2016 and the National Injury Insurance Scheme (Queensland) Regulation 2016, we require some services to be delivered by a NIISQ registered provider.

These services include:

• Attendant care and support services
• Coordination of supports
• Home modifications.

The registration requirement is only applicable to the above service categories. If your services fall outside the above categories you do not require registration with the NIISQ Agency.

We periodically review our current lists of registered providers to ensure we have adequate coverage to meet the needs of participants including participants located in rural and remote locations, as well as other states. The registration of new providers is conducted on an as needed basis to meet participant need.
