Registered providers
The NIISQ Agency funds a range of treatment, care and support services provided to NIISQ participants.
All NIISQ participants have an experienced member of the NIISQ Agency support planning team assigned to work closely with them to develop their support plan and coordinate their access to necessary and reasonable treatment, care and support services to achieve their individual goals.
What is a provider?
A provider is an individual or organisation delivering a support or service to a NIISQ participant.
Providers of the following treatment, care and support services are required to be registered with the NIISQ Agency and are governed by our Service Provider Standards.

Home modification
Registered providers – Home Modification – December 2021
Please note:
- Under s9(2)(b) of the National Injury Insurance Scheme (Queensland) Act 2016 and s21 of the National Injury Insurance Scheme (Queensland) Regulations 2016, home modification must be provided by an entity registered in NIISQ Agency register of providers for the service.
- Only those providers who have or are currently providing services to participants are listed on the register of providers. The inclusion of a service provider on the register of providers does not guarantee that a provider will remain on the register, nor does it guarantee that they will be engaged to deliver services to a NIISQ participant.
- NIISQ Agency conducts periodic reviews of the register of providers including the criteria and procedures to be a registered provider of a service.
- NIISQ Agency will communicate with the service sector, including Registered providers, of any changes to requirements to be a registered provider of a service.

Services for coordination of treatment, care and support

Where contact details are missing, these have not been provided to NIISQ. Note that ‘head office address’ does not indicate the areas serviced by a provider. Please check with individual providers if they are able to provide goods or services in your area.
