NIISQ Participant Reference Group

At the National Injury Insurance Agency, Queensland (NIISQ Agency), we believe that truly understanding and addressing the needs of our participants begins with active listening and meaningful collaboration. This commitment is at the heart of everything we do. 

To strengthen this commitment, the Participant Reference Group (PRG) was established in July 2023. The PRG provides a platform for participants to share their experiences and perspectives, ensuring their voices are an integral part of shaping the agency’s initiatives. 

The PRG consists of 10 members from diverse backgrounds, fostering inclusivity and representation. Participants join the group by completing an Expression of Interest process and successful Participants are appointed for a two-year term. 

The group meets four times per year to share experiences, provide feedback and discuss ideas to enhance NIISQ Agency’s work. During these meetings, members’ contributions are respected, valued and embedded into NIISQ Agency’s processes ensuring their insights lead to meaningful outcomes. 

The PRG reflects NIISQ Agency’s dedication to co-design and collaboration, empowering participants to play an active role in shaping NIISQ Agency’s initiatives ensuring processes continually improve.
