NIISQ Participant Reference Group continues to provide insightful feedback on our latest updates

In a recent meeting, the NIISQ Participant Reference Group (PRG) shared valuable insights and feedback on the latest updates implemented by the NIISQ Agency. Comprising a diverse set of participants, the PRG serves as a crucial sounding board for the Agency’s initiatives, ensuring the voice of the participant, and that of their family and support network, is heard and considered in the projects we undertake.

During the session, members of the PRG engaged in constructive discussions, and there was a great atmosphere and rich discussion in the room as the PRG members helped to shape our current projects while seeing the outcomes of their previous meetings.

Among the key highlights of the meeting was the discussion surrounding our MyNIISQ portal pilot, with PRG members sharing their experiences and suggesting potential enhancements to further optimise user satisfaction. Additionally, the group provided valuable input on our 2024-2028 research priorities, helping to shape the roadmap for upcoming projects and initiatives that will have real impact and benefit to NIISQ participants.

We value the input of all NIISQ participants and recognise the PRG as a vital component in our commitment to collaboration and improvement. The insights gathered from each PRG meeting are carefully considered, and we ensure we loop back in with members so they can understand the impact their feedback and insight has had on our Agency and the wider participant cohort.

The NIISQ PRG is comprised of 10 members who play a pivotal role in the ongoing enhancement of NIISQ initiatives and activities. You can learn more about the group here: Participant Reference Group – National Injury Insurance Scheme, Queensland (niis.qld.gov.au).
