Treatment, care and support guidelines now available

This year we developed the NIISQ Agency’s first ever comprehensive set of Treatment, care and support guidelines.

These guidelines reflect how we make decisions about treatment, care and support, and it was important to us to get it right. Our consultation process, which was open to the public from June – August 2023 provided opportunities for robust and constructive discussions, and all feedback received was considered carefully.

We are pleased to advise that following our review period, the Treatment, care and support guidelines are now available.  

We will continue to work on and refine the guidelines moving forward, as well as explore other exciting enhancements to improve accessibility in 2024.
